As consulting engineers, we are often approached by large asset managers and strata agencies who manage apartments, hotels and other infrastructure assets.
Residential
Strata agencies that manage hotels, apartment blocks and other assets come to us for routine structural adequacy assessments and inspections. We assess proposals by individual unit owners for modifications and additions and provide
engineering services. In addition, we conduct safety inspections for strata agencies to ensure that balconies and
carports satisfy council compliance requirements.
We are also approached by investors and asset managers to conduct
inspections and structural evaluations before purchase or before the
warranty period ends to ensure that builders rectify any defects. We
also conduct building inspections and provide reports, including estimating the remaining life of structures for planning purposes.
Industrial
For our industrial clients we conduct inspections and load assessments of floors, racks and equipment to determine Safe Working Loads. In addition, we design extensions to existing industrial space, sheds and hangers, as well as conduct
stormwater assessments of existing car parks and industrial space.
Commercial
We have a small network of commercial clients that regularly approach us for the refurbishment of commercial premises, extensions and alterations such as additional openings in structural walls. We respond within a short period and provide them with the required structural design and documentation to seek permission for the proposed alterations.
