Shoring, Propping & Excavation of Three-level Structure
Secondly, the car park design involved excavating below ground level under the existing house.

This created challenges in the design of temporary shoring and propping works which were required to completely suspend the existing floors for excavation for the car park below. This was achieved by designing and installing propping and shoring systems using a steel framework, custom-designed by Neilly Davies for the entire of the existing building. read more
